Fallen

The antithesis of parachute is fascinating. It’s interesting to note the static nature of the parachute when it’s inside its container. A moment later, when you are pulling the rope to spread it out, you can see the parachute in the air conveying the sense of movement. The parachute takes dynamic shapes while moving in the air. The fabric, in the same way, can be seen statically, but once manipulated and organized in a form, it comes to life by showing its energy and its movement. Any form of movement is absolutely essential. We are physical beings; we depend on the action. We chase it. The collection analyses the concept of movement. I think that from my dress construction you can see my interest in shapes and dynamicity. The technique of drapery is the focus of the collection, in addition to the fluidity of fabrics and the impact of tie-dye print on them. I tried to reproduce the movement of the parachute in the air during the construction of my collection.
