The name of the series is “Fade”, and I want to express the fade of beauty ,the color of the flower is already very dim.But the flower shape is still full, because I think the incompleteness is also part of its complete life. The blooming and declining of flowers is a natural process, and I also want to sing praises and praise. Just like our lives, everyone has smiles and tears in their lives, but our lives are always full of hope, and sometimes imperfection is also a kind of perfection. This series uses a lot of flowers. The color and outline of the clothing are inspired by enamel porcelain (C). Enamel porcelain is an artistic technique mainly used in ceramic decoration. It is believed that this technology originated in the West.In the Ming and Qing dynasties of China, some craftsmen created bronzes and porcelains, which have been very valuable to this day.but now they have got rid of their function as tableware ,and are purely artistic treasures that bring people the enjoyment of beauty.
My name is MeikeLi，I was born in Jingzhou，, an ancient city full of history and culture.I graduated from Hubei University of Arts and Science in 2018.And I’m studying Fashion and Textile Design at Nuova Accademiadi belle arti di Milano,my design style is sweet and romantic. When I was a little girl, I always secretly put on my mother's high heels and lipstick. Later, in order to be able to wear beautiful dress every day, I went to art high school. To me, fashion is a thing of beauty, and it has always attracted me. The name of the series is “Fade”, and it is decorated with many handmade flowers. The silhouette of the clothing evolved from the shape of the enamel vase. The enamel vase is a traditional Chinese handicraft, and people marvel at its beauty. I used a lot of blue in this series. The color selection is not rich. The main color blue makes people feel dreamy/serene and calm. The makeup uses green and red. Green is the earth and red is the vitality. I want to express the process of flowers blooming and falling , the dim flower also has it’s beauty. I discovered my preference for flowers in the previous research courses, inspired by plants, and also added butterfly elements. Once I stumbled upon the blooming flower withering, I felt very sad, my friend said it would open again, and then I thought of the word “fade”
