Interested in History of Arts, Visual Arts and Indipendent publishing with focus on arts, contemporary photography and underground.
Since when I was younger Iíve worked on personal projects, sculptures, bidimensional works, ceramics, fanzine and showing my works in three exhibitions. Focusing on the use of unusual materials for the artistic practice like bitumen and developing a personal language, with primitives, dramatic and nostalgic features.
ďSLUDGEĒ COLLECTION IS BORN FROM MY INTEREST IN LAND ART, IN PARTICULAR FOR THE WORKS OF DE MARIA AND HEIZER. THE METHODOLOGIES OF INTERVENTION, USING MATERIALS FOUND DIRECTLY ON THE TERRITORY AND THE FORMAL STUDY IN THEIR WORKS HAVE ALWAYS FASCINATED ME
FROM WHICH I WANTED TO DRAW IMPLIED AND NEVER EXPLICIT REFERENCES, FOR EXAMPLE THE CLOSURE OF THE CALF LEATHER JACKET THAT RECALLS THE CITY OF HEIZER MONUMENTAL WORK IN THE NEVADA DESERT. ONE COAT IS MADE USING ORIGINAL TENTS OF THE 1940s U.S. ARMY THAT CONFIRM THE METHODOLOGY OF WORKING WITH MATERIALS FOUND AND ALREADY HISTORICIZED.
FOCUSING ON JACKETS AND COATS CONCEIVED AS UNIFORMS, AS SYMBOLS OF CULTURE - WALTER DE MARIA WHO LAYS ON THE GROUND WITH HER SINGLE-BREASTED BLAZER IN GRAY WOOL - AND AT THE SAME TIME OF REVOLT IN ORDER TO CREATE PERSONAL UTOPIAN ARCHITECTURES.
The concept of rebirth accompanied by a return to origins. By rendering the concept with the use of neutral colors and unclear images in order to make everything less explicit, leaving room for subjective interpretation.
Iím a 21 years old Fashion Styling and Communication student, Iím into visual and performing arts.
Iíve always found interesting the fashion world. With time I found out I want to expand my interests by seeing the fashion industry from another point of view that is the performance.
Iím also into discovering new faces.
