My name is Tindara, Iím 23. I come from Varese and Iím a Fashion Design student in Milan.
Fashion has been my aspiration since I was a child looking at my grandparents, who were a knitter and a tailor; they gave me their passion and today they push me to follow my dreams.
During this path, Naba gave me the opportunity to learn more about this field and provided me with the tools to make it a passion.
I really want to learn new things, every new project leads me to look around and push me to create something innovative and useful to people to feel good and themselves.
OUT OF TOUCH
My Fall/Winter 2022 collection ďOut Of TouchĒ, aimed to fit the current pandemic situation and address to solve new needs that have emerged.
My intention was to provide garments able to protect people and make them feel safe while moving around the city or crowded places without sacrificing comfort and aesthetic at the same time. Some of the garments present manipulation both related to street style and done with spray cans, recalling street art and graffiti, and to the consequences of the pandemic we are all living, in fact I used some recycled denim and wool, which have been the only material available for me during the lockdown period.
The choice of the materials play the fundamental role in my collection: in the majority of the cases I applied Nylon, Scuba, which are two of the most protective materials we have, compared to natural fibers, because on the contrary they do not assorbe bacteria, smog etc.
The brand Just in Case presents in this case the fall-winter collection 2021/2022: "Out of Touch", inspired by the serious pandemic of Sars-Cov-2 that has changed the life of each of us. Never since the beginning of 2020 have we realized how much protection and cover is extremely necessary to protect our body from any type of bacteria or virus. But how to protect yourself while maintaining a glamorous and fashionable look? This collection answers this question perfectly. It is not necessary to give up beauty in exchange for protection: the garments were made of Nylon and Scuba mainly, hydrophobic fabrics that do not absorb any substance from the outside.
The styling of this collection is linked in particular to the manipulations and streetwear style of this genderless collection. Neutral bases, white, black or transparent, are here ruined, soiled like graffiti, with Cyan, Magenta and Yellow, for the most part.
I am Marcella Pagliari, I am 21 years old and I was born and raised in Crema, a small town immersed in the Lombard countryside. There I attended the Liceo Classico A. Racchetti, experience that has increased my passion that I cultivate since childhood, fashion, teaching me to look at things through multiple points of view. After graduation I chose to transform my passion into something more concrete, so as to make it a job. I joined NABA, Fashion Styling and Communication in English, where I learned to express my creativity, and my vision of things, through fashion.
