My name is Marta Frangi.
I’m an art lover in all its expressions and this plays a very important role in shaping my ideas.
The passion for fashion was born from the need to create unique and personalized clothes with which to express my personality.
I’m especially interested in knitwear and textile, and I love to experiment with new techniques and materials
The collection speaks about our identity and our responsibility towards the planet.
The analysis of the controversial relationship between man and the environment was the starting point for the design of clothes for the planet.
A journey in search of the “Natural Attribute”, the true essence of the human being derived from the bond with Mother Earth now suppressed by the artificiality of the environments that surround us.
The texture of knitting and the wide and asymmetrical volumes, inspired by the sinuosity of hills, rocks and deserts, allow freedom of movement as well as the possibility of adapting to different body shapes through customized accessories.
The muted colors of the natural world contrast with artificial brightly colored details.
The materials are completely eco-sustainable as they come from natural or recycled sources.
The “ Natural attribute” is the true essence of the human being, the most intimate and profound part.
It derives from the bond with the natural world and it’s the set of those that are the most primitive and spiritual attributes of man, such as freedom, empathy, respect and richness of the spirit.
Values that are now suppressed by technology, consumerism and increasingly hectic urban life.
The artificial environments that surround us, they detach us more and more from contact with Mother Earth.
The analysis of the controversial relationship between man and the environment was the starting point for the realization of clothes for the planet.
The research starts from the analysis of the most destructive and polluting actions of megacities documented by Michael Wolf in which nature is almost completely absent, replaced by concrete and plastic.
Secondly, the research crosses the work of different land artists in which natural and artificial coexist in a harmonious way until the expression of the sustainable fusion of the two, where the work of man respects the natural element and brings beauty and usefulness to the whose naked bodies blend with the sinuosity of uncontaminated landscapes.
The shapes and the large and asymmetrical volumes are inspired by the sinuosity of hills, rocks and deserts and allow freedom of movement.
The materials are completely eco-sustainable because they come from natural or recycled sources.
The soft colors of the natural world contrast with the artificial bright colors.
I am Sabrina Franco.
I was born in Rome and I am studying Fashion Styling and Communication at NABA. My passion for fashion was born when I was a child. I am intrigued by news and I like to follow everything that fashion does.
II really like to tell and give my vision of things and for me, the best way is through clothes.
For this project,
I found my inspiration from nature, in particular isolated and quiet places where man blends with the surrounding environment and creates a kind of performance.
