Simon Dante Russomanto

My name is Simon Dante Russomanto.
I’m an Italian 21 years old illustrator and fashion designer, currently based in Rome. Ever since I was little, drawings and art has always been the best way to express myself. During high school I decided to study languages in order to be prepared to a future job abroad. After that I followed my passions and I decided to study fashion design at NABA, Nuova Accademia delle Belle Arti; where I graduated in 2022. My work has been defined as bright, sexy and sparkling. Whenever I’m not drawing, I’m probably thinking of what to draw next.

What if Studio54 in New York was still active?
Who would attend?
Who would leave their mark between those sparkling lights and the overwhelming music, daughter of the 80s?
The main objective of the project is to recreate a reality now disappeared and give it a new life, full of sensuality, rhythm and colors.
The illustrations will depict, through a storyboard, the transformation of a dream into reality.
The illustrative story will be based on a cartoon, whose purpose is to redeem the disappearance of Studio 54, through the re-brand of the Hex-Girls band. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the “HEX-STUDIO".

“Miss-Faded” for Simon Dante Russomanto

A heaven built under the iconic disco balls where music sounds loud, parties based on excess and extravagance with champagne showers.

The youth is celebrated on the dance floor thanks to the funny and ironic style of Cartooncon
with silk suits, shiny lycra, macro sequins, stars and metal fabrics. Accessories such as safety pins, chains, piercings, crinolines and leather corsets reproduce transgressive and irreverent notes, typical of a punk rock style.
An aesthetic suitable for a woman who does not want to provoke and shine only in the night of fun temples, but also in the day sitting in the office, in front of her desk.

Roberta Cuomo

My name is Roberta Cuomo and I am attending the Fashion Styling and Comunication course.
I was born and raised in Campania, after completing my studies, I moved to Rome to start a new chapter in my life in the name of fashion and art.
During my career I have matured and perfected my listening and communication skills, having had the opportunity to collaborate with different personalities.
Over time I have learned that the best means of communication is the image thanks to the power of non-verbal language that the latter possesses.
