Bendetta Lombardini

Hi, Iím a fashion student in NABA, my passion began when I was really little cause my grandma was a tailor and she used to keep pieces of fabric that she didnít needed so that I could create garments for the dolls and after for my sister and my little cousins. Since then I always loved art and fashion and now that Iím studying it I finally have the possibility to create something. I began also last year a little Istagram brand where I sell some of the garment that I create. I love to create something from nothing.

HATE SOCIAL DISTANCE

Hate Social Distance has been presented to me as a collection that wants to speak about the year 2020 and our entire experience, as a society, with the COVID-19 pandemic and the quarantine. The designer presented this period in a playful way through the collectionís outfits.
When it came to my intervention in the project, anyway, I felt the need to insert also something more related to how I perceived this period. For this reason I tried to give to the viewer the feeling of melancholy that, to me, has characterized the quarantine period. Another reason was to give a kind of duality, in terms of perception, to the collection presenting a harsh and sad topic in a lighter way and have a balanced result. I tried to do that by using pastel colors and colder lights in the photo shooting and collectionís video.
I believe that mixing together the two visions that the designer and I have has made the collection stronger and able to reach out to more peopleís minds.

Martina Ferretti

I was born in Parma on the 22 of June 1999 and I was raised there my entire life. During my high school years I attended Paolo Toschi Art School where I studied painting, sculpture and history of art and in the end I graduated in Fine Arts. In high school I started to develop a strong interest in Fashion as I considered it unique way to express myself and my creativity. For this reason I moved to Milan and I decided attend the Fashion Design course in NABA. After a year and an half I took the Styling and Communication path as I was fascinated by the stylist job.
