The collection stems from the concept of "acceptance". The arrival of being aware of who one is. A rebirth that navigates between melancholy and strength. A dream that ranges between historical re-enactments and personal reflections. There is a strong reference to Greek and Roman art, as divine beings were free to love and love each other without preconceptions or judgments. A "Dionysian" love as a free choice to love any person and anything. A romanticism that is projected into rebellion and revolution, which fights for its rights with an unbeatable weapon: love. An erotic and sensual touch, which becomes a decorative frame, capable of bringing out the unconscious desires. The liberating act of loving and loving each other, not in a clandestine way, but in the light of the sun.
Domenica De Lorenzo
I’m Domenico De Lorenzo, I am from a small town in Calabria, but I live in Milan. My passion for fashion comes from the desire to express my freedom and my spontaneity, telling stories and being able to enhance every form of beauty, through the characters I can create, poised between reality and fantasy, I think it is a manifestation of my voice. This project, named "Midsummer Night's dream" is a hymn to freedom, conceived from a fusion of contrasting styles that create harmony. A soul that does not come to terms with its pain, but lets it vent, scream, and then let it die and be free to dream again. A dream that ranges between historical re-enactments: Greek and Roman, and personal reflections. Focused on taking care of yourself, with an eye to the future, it celebrates the freedom of a youth living in a different dimension. An erotic and sensual touch, which becomes a decorative frame, capable of bringing out unconscious desires, even with simple revealing glances that speak of one thing but mean another. A romanticism that is projected into rebellion and revolution, which fights for its rights. With an unbeatable weapon: the love of two young Gods in a Temple.
