I'm Martina Morante, I'm 22, I attend the fashion design course at Naba, New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan.
My professional skills are illustration and design of collections, with particular interest in researching innovative materials and textile manipulations.
I have a good command of the graphic programs of the Adobe package through which I communicate with clarity and precision.
The women's collection talk about the importance of water, a precious asset, through a suggestion of different materials, shapes, colors and textile manipulations.
The beauty and depth of the sea; water as the primary element of being, a project that revolves around this thematic core.
It’s developed in the collection among the diaphanous volumes centered on the rich fauna that inhabits them, up to the changing representation of an elusive and dreamlike shape of the seabed.
Light and soft colors that fade into the colors of the sea up to more decisive colors, in a game of opposing silhouettes, unfolds with a refined rhythm: decisive and geometric cuts alternate with tapered lines, to explode in vaporous triumphs in light taffeta like the 'water. All invested in a deep and mystical blue.
The collection inspired by the marine landscape, the reference to water is an element that is perceived in this project, water that is conceived not only as a return to origins but as progress, innovation and sustainability also through the recycling of paper.
The use of voluminous shapes and fluid fabrics is evident, where sartorial and organic silhouettes are contrasted by geometric lines.
The elements, opposed to each other, become complementary, tracing a refined balance.
