Awake From Deadwood

Imagining when fashion grows in a natural, wet forest: Just like dead leaves fell on the damp soil. Garments, one part belongs to itself, the other part has dissolved. In such conditions, clothes will be wet, the fabric will experience some mildew, and there will be many creases.
This collection is aimed to explore a symbiosis relationship between humans and nature, artificial and unengraved—through the exploration of eco-print, fabric manipulation and natural dyeing. Through the language of clothing, it projects what is observed in the natural environment and the chaos and order that people create when they perceive changes in the background. Respect reality, combine imagination, combine imagination with fact, and explore scenes that can reveal the truth.

Yucheng Hu

Hello, my name is Hu Yucheng, I am from Shanghai and I am 22 years old. After graduating high school, I came to Italy to study. Due to my passion for the fashion industry, I chose the fashion design major. During my studies at NABA, I gradually found my interest in fashion. Now, I am a Fashion styling & Communication student, and my learning experience in styling has changed me a lot. I hope that in the future, I can also continue to work on this aspect.
