Anna was born in a small town near Verona in 2000. Following her passion for fashion she graduated in tailor-made and textile production in a fashion high school developing skills in sewing and hand / digital illustration. She is currently attending the last year of the fashion design course at the NABA Academy of Fine arts in Milan.
Her deep interest in female beauty and her Albanian and Greek origins are part of her creative identity which is a continuous study of all the aspects that represent the bond with her own roots.
The main theme on which the project of Anna Pina’s collection, "Athina", is aimed at giving a tribute to her Greek origins, especially in Athens, from which the name of her collection derives. She wanted to give a completely innovative interpretation, abandoning what may be the folkloric vision that we have today on Greece, thus basing his research on the penetration of the Athenian world within Western culture. The goal was therefore to retrace the history of Greek beauty that sees as the protagonist of the female body drapery, which is predominant in the representation of her clothes and overlap with the urban world known for graffiti and huge murals. Here, too, she wanted to give a different interpretation, bringing out her vision of femininity through over-sized outfits, skirts that mark the waist and tops that take up pieces of pepli.
Hi, I’m Giordana Magaldi, I’m 22 years old and I’m from Rome. I come from a classical linguistic high school with an international Spanish orientation. I moved to Milan three years ago to pursue my dream in the Italian fashion capital. My passion for fashion comes from the union of my passion for art, beauty and culture. Later I chose to direct my study in Fashion Communication beacuse I think that is important to have a 360 degrees in the world of fashion. I am fascinated by everything that revolves around this machine of art and beauty.
