Starting from my playlist, I focused on the cover of the Arctic Monkeys album “AM”, where the drawing of a waveform is depicted, so then studying different types of sound waves, linking it to some works by the artist Marcos Marin, from Optical Art and some from Emma Mcnelly. I took inspiration from the shapes of Phil Cuttance’s vases, up to the kaleidoscopic vision that music can cause. My collection will consist of basic items, but very detailed by workmanship, cuts, accessories and contrasts between fabrics. It will be a collection created by a mix of the retrò style.
Hi, I'm Giulia Bogni, I'm 21 years old and I study Fashion Design at NABA in Milan. I live in Cocquio-Trevisago, a small country village in the province of Varese. I've had this passion since I was a child, but the real passion was born when I was a teenager, being a curvy girl, most of the time I couldn't find clothes that fit me, so I started to create custom-made clothes. My goal in fashion is to make something that makes you feel good about yourself, and that expresses myself to the full.
